Master of Arts in Communication and Dramatic Arts

This 30-credit-hour program offers three areas of concentration:

  • Interpersonal and Public Communication
  • Oral Interpretation
  • Theatre

In each concentration, students take core courses in communication theory and methods. A thesis is required. Students may choose to complete a theoretical or an applied thesis. This program offers many opportunities for students to develop communication skills. They can:

  • Participate in one of the finest communication teacher-training program in the country
  • Gain practical experience in the debate and forensics program
  • Assist in ongoing faculty research projects
  • Conduct their own research with faculty assistance
