Both programs provide a strong background in communication research and methods and classical and contemporary communication theory. Most classes are small, and faculty members are committed to maintaining supportive and personal interaction with graduate students.
To be admitted to either of these programs, applicants must have GPAs of 3.0 or higher in the last 60 hours of graduate study and at least 3.0 in the last 15 hours of speech communication courses or courses approved by the department.
